Where do babies come from?
If I have to explain this to you, you are obviously to young to be reading this website. Turn off the computer and go tell mommy or daddy that you have been a very bad boy/girl and that you want to know where babies come from.

Not to sound too obsessed at all with this mystery... but I'll ask again - Did you find any more doll legs in the desert? Maybe a dingo ate your dolly!
I actually think the obsession is fitting. I finally figured out a way to publish the Q appropriately after I asked for you to post again. Sorry to make you ask again...and look obsessed. I do appreciate it!

Thought of the Day 2010 #153 - Drama
Eh, what do I know, bitch. I know what you are doing, and you and your boyfriend can f*ck off 'cuz I saw you with him, bitch. Oh, and your hair?? It is ugly. Kind of like that bitch she was with last year? Remember? The one with the fat ass and ugly shoes? Yeah. Like that. Don't look at me that way. I know what you said about me. He toooold me what you said....
Oops.
Cat you are very accomplished seamstress. I love the articles of clothing you have sewn. This brings to mind a few questions. 1. Do you sew for enjoyment or because you have to i.e. do you sew out of frustration when you cannot find something in your
Thanks!
I sew for bothe reasons... I like creating and designing...and it is hard to find exactly what I want in my size, or any size for that matter. I used to sew and design more than I do now, but still design a lot of stuff in my head.
I think your question got cut off...please resubmit what you can. Thanks again!

I believe...
I believe that when I squint really hard, and look into a light, the glowing orby reflections off my eyelashes are an encoded cure for cancer.
I believe that grasshoppers, crickets, and frogs as well as any other nocturnal chatterers are calling out the sequences to all of the universe's secrets written in the stars. We just don't listen very carefully, do we?
(Don't judge until it is disproven!!)
Which software do you use for your design/web work?
Notepad, Flash, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, PhotoShop, FrontPage, Sharepoint Designer. I think that is about it.
Did you find any more doll legs in the desert? Maybe a dingo ate your dolly!
No more matching legs! I always pictured a nasty little boy taking his sister's doll, tearing off the body parts and tossing them carelessly. The idea of a dingo or any critter doing it never crossed my mind. " The dingo ate her dolly!" Maybe Meryl can record that for me?
Please post a current photo of yourself wearing your underwear from the cancan video. If you no longer have the underwear, please wear something similar (floral). Please don't be shy about doing this. You did it once, you can do it again!
I no longer have the underwear. In my experience, it doesn't last forever. I no longer have an ass, either. Crying shame, I know. ;-) Thanks for your encouragement, though. With it, I may find my ass again.

Are you excited or depressed about the future?
Hmmm...I guess I'm more excited than depressed, but I don't know if excited is the term I'd use. Maybe optimistic instead? The future is unknown and fairly malleable, so that makes it potentially fabulous!

I'll ask my husband to see if it is ok. Good job on the question formation, by the way!

New Follower!
Have you ever encountered anyone you were totally sure was a disturbed and possibly dangerous individual? Either in person or online? And you were sure you'd see them on COPS eventually?
Definitely! I have met quite a few over the years. I don't think I've ever met a Hannibal Lechter, but have definitely met plenty of mentally disturbed individuals. Then there are the people who just look evil...something missing in their souls. Not a lot of pure evil folk, compared with the number of mentally ill, but more than I really want to know about.
Good question, Buffie!
I love you! I just sent a message to your website!
Feel the love! Spread it around. My website appreciates the sentiment, but you've only just met it.
are you a virgin?
Hahaha! Hmmm...I think I covered this before, too. Take a look around, and you tell me if my chastity belt is still intact. You have a fifty-fifty shot. The pressure is on!
how much do you weigh?
A lot! I covered this in a previous question. Time for you to go hunting for it!

Thought of the Day 2010 #150 - Darkness Falls
I was sitting out back in a lawn chair amongst tall weeds and was quite certain that the nocturnal bugs were on the move. I kept my arms and legs moving, and swayed my body back and forth. If you didn't know me, you would have assumed I was a disturbed autistic. Luckily, I didn't feel anything crawl on me, but I looked to my right, and on a white plastic lawn chair, there clearly were critters quickly moving across the seat. I love summer evenings! I really do. There is something magical about the seemingly endless darkening blue sky. The bugs just temper the beauty so that it is not overwhelming.

What's growing in your garden this year?
Tomatoes(roma and celebrity), corn, peppers (bell, Anaheim, jalapeño), beans (edamame aka soy, string, Lima), zucchini, pumpkins, cucumbers(pickling, lemon, burpless), spaghetti squash, asparagus, peas, snow peas, onions, potatoes. I am sure I have forgotten something. My hubby is the gardener. I help a little with the planting and buying of the seeds, plants, but he does most of the work. And it is a looooot of work weeding and watering which is done through irrigation channels. We could definitely scale back and just farm an acre or less and still have enough for us, instead we give at least 50% away to family and friends. Oh, and all of this garden...and there is still all of the fruit trees and bushes - apricot, peaches, raspberries, apples, plums. What's cool is that we garden completely organically - no pesticides or herbicides or chemical fertilizers. So, it's very healthy produce. It also means that once in a while we will run into a bug or two when washing the produce off, but all in all, it's not bad.
Love the Photos! ...even more when they're updated. :)
Thanks! I know! Sorry! I have grand plans and too little time to execute. Thanks for your patience!

Thought of the Day 2010 #148 - Sprinkles
( This is my secret plot to rid the world of these nasty bits. Keep that part secret as you pass on this important revelation. Thanks!)
Have you ever considered weight loss surgery? I've thought about it but don't like the idea of having my insides rearranged.
Oh, hell no. I've heard too many stories of complications and miserable results to even think of it. I have heard, too, that most wls recipients will gain on average 80 percent of their pre-surgery weight back. It is no miracle. Just like diet plans, it is just a tool to try to lose weight, and as with other tools, most do not work long term nor do they work for all people. The major difference is that diets are reversible, and most surgeries are not.

What is your ideal man (besides your husband). Physical characteristics and personality? Do you like sex often or is once in awhile sufficient and with your partner or masterbation?
I like intelligent, humorous, clever, quirky yet somewhat normal, level-headed men. The physical is pretty open. In my single days, I dated thinner and heavier, shorter and taller.
How often is often?? Level of desire depends upon a lot of factors from hormone to stress levels. Sex for one or two...both are good.
ABC Family "HUGE" premiers June 28th. Maybe it will be a step in the right direction for Fat acceptance? What do you think of The Biggest Loser?
I had not heard anything about the show until I received this email. I did a little research and now know little more than I knew before, but basically it's a show set at a fat camp for teenagers. I also saw that the network is hosting a little self-esteem building site for kids where they can show how they are huge -- personality, talent, etc. No idea if this will help fat acceptance. I think if the premise helps young kids, fat or thin, build positive self-esteem then it will be a success.
Biggest Loser? Hmmm, I don't think too much about the show. I think it is cool that people want to lose weight to win money. I sincerely doubt that most of the contestants will keep it off long term because most will struggle to find two or three workout hours in a day to maintain such a major loss. But, if they do keep it off, more power to them.
I am not a fatty who fears those who wish to lose weight. I fear the former (or current!) fatties who hate who they were as fat people and project that hatred upon those who are currently fat. Losing weight out of loathing just seems wrong. Eh, but who am I to say? Hatred it a powerful emotion that drives men to kill...maybe it is the key to long term weight loss?
Thought of the Day 2010 #146 - virus update
I think about how innocently it all started and how horribly wrong it all became...I just feel so violated... I have become paranoid about clicking on links, and I am also paranoid that the infection will come back 'cuz it maybe lying dormant in a file somewhere on my system. I check the "documents and settings" folder several times a day to make sure the evil "helpassistant" hasn't checked back in to the hotel.
With the over reported violation of iPad and AT&T security, it makes me think that is REALLY insignificant compared to time wasting trojan viruses like this one.

Thought of the Day 2010 #145 - Good & Bad
Bad news. My friend Alexandra was in town today on her way back to Minnesota after visiting with her critically I'll mother. Her mom had a few lucid moments last week and during those times, she indicated she wanted to fight to try to live. The doctors gave her a very small glimmer of hope and she was clinging to it. Alexandra was heading back home as the care center attempted to rehabilitate, suspecting that the her mom's fight was going to be long and probably fruitless to get her off the ventilator. That was two days ago. Today, while I was visiting with her, she received an urgent call. There was no longer any glimmer of hope. Her lungs were damaged beyond repair and they urged the family to begin the end...to give her a comfortable way out. Two options were offered removal of liquids from her diet and she would die in just a few days, or remove the ventilator and she would die in hours. Three family members were involved in the making the decision. They have tentatively decided to remove liquids in order for a family member the option of final good byes. If that family member does not choose to travel out to say good bye, the decision is to remove the ventilator.
It was hard to hear the call from the doctors and the familiy's struggle to make the best decision given the circumstances. I doubt there is ever an easy way to make this decision. So tough. So sad.

Thought of the Day 2010 #140 - Sexy Scent
I awoke thinking quite a bit about scent and previous lovers and non-lovers who just had *that* scent. It's interesting how the particular scents have been burned in my brain. I can recall very specific details of those people and my surroundings when the scent piqued my interest. Almost like the smell triggered parts of my brain normally dormant. Fascinating response, really. And, normally, quite surprising to me when I'm enraptured by it. Pleasant and overwhelming obsession.
Does daily showering make us less sexually aroused? Or does a shower wash away the bacteria to leave just the pleasant scents to flourish? I recall seeing studies saying the former is probably true. Although, can you imagine a society with no bathing? Not only would you smell those to whom you are chemically attracted, but also those whom are repugnant. Especially those you find repugnant, I would assume. Not good.
Do you know of what I write? Do you know which scents drive you deliciously mad?

Thought of the Day 2010 #135 - Appsolutely Insane
In addition, you can only run one (2 if you count having iTunes concurrence) program at a time. In my experience, any app that is a duplication of its website presence loads slower than the web version, and typically doesn't have all of the functionality. So why not just have bookmarks to the web presence instead of the app? Saves time and disk space.
Then there are the apps that really don't live up to their promises. And the apps that lock and fail.
Can you tell I'm a bit disappointed in most of the apps? Maybe I'm just not finding the right ones? Got any recommendations?
My favs - GoSkyWatch, Scrabble, and Netflix. You?
