Thought of the Day #306 - Taking No For an Answer

There's not much in life that I hate more than salespeople who ascribe
to the "don't take no for an answer" school of sales. It makes me
bristle faster than a rattler tied around an ankle. I said, "I'm not
interested." When I said that, trust me and wholeheartedly believe, I'm
not interested. Ask me another time and I'll hang up on you on the phone
or slam the door if you're at the front of the house. I do not worry
about 'hurting your feelings' 'cuz the second time you asked, it was
clear you had no respect for my feelings.
