Thought of the Day #33

One of the sucky parts about being fat is the inability to completely
blend in to society. It's really much like being a celebrity. I can
walk in a park and others will stop, point and remark something to
their companion. It happens in restaurants, grocery stores, theaters,
etc. If you've got a crowd, I've got their attention. At times, I think
I should sell advertising on my body 'cuz get more second glances than
any billboard. Oh, and the word of mouth...instantaneous.

I hate that too. I would so like to be just another face in the crowd sometimes.

I have that same problem because I am really tall as well, 6'6". I get people coming up to me and saying things like 'wow you're tall aren't you' or 'you're a big lad'. I still haven't come up with the ultimate reply. The best one someone said to me was 'Have you always been that tall?' I couldn't resist and said 'yeah, ever since i was a baby'.
