This is something I've been meaning to post for a long time. It's a medical theory that I think will turn out to be true. I want to get it *out there* with a date on it so that I can say, "See, I told ya so." Here it is, you can say it's bunk if you'd like. :-)
I believe that fat people have a higher incidence of type II diabetes due to their propensity for sleep apnea. There's long been research that showed that fat pears were less likely to suffer from several diseases than their apple shaped sisters. I've also heard that people who carry their weight on their chest, around their necks, etc are more likely to suffer from apnea. I'm thinkin' that the lower blood oxygen levels at night due to apnea may have an adverse effect upon the pancreas's long term health. Maybe the pancreas needs all the oxygen it can get during the bodie's rejuvenation period? Dunno, I'm not a medical professional nor do I play one on TV. I do strongly believe that sleep apnea will show itself to be a strong link to diseases regardless of the level of obesity. Oxygen obviously plays a huge role in our overall health. If 1/3 of the day we go with limited O2, you can bet we'll suffer from ill health.
So, there you have it. :-)

Jeanne Lorioz -- I don't believe I've seen much of this artist's work before today. I must have been in a vacuum. If you're fond of plump chickas in art, look no further! I love the way she paints the rotund bum. Cute as all get out. Click here for a view of some of the works.

Ivan's daughter received a wedding invite yesterday. I had an opportunity to take a peek at it. The kids (they can't be more than 19ish) spent a lot of time and money on the invites. They even went so far as to include a couple of personal statements from the two intendeds....The girl, let's call her "Ann" started off her statement like this: "God bless me with a man like you. You are my strength and I'll be faithful to you with the Lord's help. I promise to be a bright light to shine in our home." I'm just thinkin' that if she's counting only on god to keep her faithful in the marriage, there might be some trouble brewing already. :-) Oh, and what's with the "bright light" in the home crud? Is she some sort of dim bulb? (Get it, bulb/light? I couldn't resist. :-) The boy, I'll call him "Vance", started off with a nice romantic tone. He lost me, however, on this statement: "Life by your own has ended and so has mine yet we will live on for a life has just begun." Sure it's a romantic notion, but it sounds a bit morbid. He closes with this: " Let us stick to each other not only till death but even life after death." Yeah, it's got the Mormon tone to it, but "stick to each other"? Is this a stapling ceremony? I know that the Mormon marriage ceremony in the temple is referred to casually as getting "sealed", but is there actual glue involved?? Am I too new to the Salt Lake area to fully understand this? :-)

I like to think that I'm a pretty knowledgeable and open minded chicka, but a recent comment in my Guest Registry has me a bit surprised. Someone posted asking for photos of me in a cast or on crutches. Is this a fetish that ya'll have heard about? It's a new one on me. I wonder if a full body cast would be an erotic turn on for someone with that fetish or would that be an entirely different thing? What about just Band-aid's? Could they be erotic too? Why stop there? What about iodine being a perfume that drives you wild?? Things that make me go, "hmmmmm."
