I had a great Christmas holiday with my sweetie and his family in Salt Lake. I also had a great time with two family parties up here in MN before and after my trip to SLC. I was able to fly down to Salt Lake on Christmas eve...and then had to immediately fly back on Christmas day. The "Santa" fare that Northwest airlines was sweet enough; only $150/rt. What made the fare sweeter was that I got bumped up to first class on the flight down to SLC. Bonus! I couldn't have asked for a nicer gift from the airlines. I do feel, however, that I wasted my holiday luck on that bump to first class...I was hoping to win that darned Powerball lotto last night so that I could fly first class all the time. :-) I hope you're all having a wonderful holiday season!

I think I'm fairly good when it comes to the English language...usually. Last week I sent an email to a group of individuals at my job that included a pretty bad misspelling. Instead of using the word "rule" I spelled it "rool". While it might just be a typo, I think it's actually a synapse issue in my brain. In fact, it could very well be a tumor. I can understand a spelling like "ruel" where the letters are simply transposed, but ROOL? I think I need to get some therapeutic medication or maybe just a brain massage.
